Learn how to care for your FORA sunglasses with ZEISS lenses. Cleaning tips, storage, and maintenance for standard and polarized lenses.

In every model we create, we at FORA strive to combine quality, design, style, and the brand's own DNA.

Every FORA pair of sunglasses has a backstory.
From the time the factory cuts the acetate until it gets into your hands. Before being packaged and sent, each pair is meticulously examined and adjusted in our studio.

Cellulose acetate, a premium natural material that can be tailored to fit your face for more comfort, is used to make all of our frames. For individualized fitting or modifications, stop by any FORA store.

Regular use may cause dust or dirt to build up on the lenses and frames. Use a microfiber cloth and cleaning solution for effective cleaning. Steer clear of powerful detergents and solvents (such acetone or alcohol) as they can harm the lenses or frame.

1) Clean with a microfiber cloth

Avoid using your clothing or paper towels, they can scratch the lenses. Always use a clean, dry microfiber cloth to gently remove dust, fingerprints, and smudges.

2) Use a proper lens cleaning spray

Apply a lens-specific cleaning spray that’s free from alcohol or ammonia. Spray it on the lenses and wipe gently with a microfiber cloth for a streak-free finish.

3) Avoid leaving sunglasses in direct heat or sunlight

High temperatures can warp the frame or damage the lens coatings. Always store your sunglasses in their case when not in use, especially on hot days or inside cars.

4) Carry your sunglasses in a hard case

Protect your sunglasses from scratches or impact by storing them in a sturdy FORA case. Never leave them loose in a bag, backpack, or pocket.

5) Don’t use harsh chemicals or cleaners

Avoid cleaning your sunglasses with household detergents, alcohol, acetone, or wet wipes. These can damage the lens coatings and reduce optical quality.
