How to start the year with the right vision

The new year is here and before we talk about goals, routines, or resolutions, let’s talk about something more fundamental: how you see the year ahead, the World and how you move through it. And yes, sometimes that starts quite literally with what sits on your nose.

So here are a few ways to begin the year with sharper sight and better habits:

1. First one is quite obvious. If you need glasses… wear them.
And look good doing it.

If your vision isn’t 10/10, wearing glasses isn’t admitting defeat. It’s upgrading your interface with the World. Timeless design, quality materials, and a frame that suits your face can change how you feel the moment you put them on. Our optical collection exists for exactly that: every style, every face, every occasion.

2. Make your eye health a habit, not an afterthought.
Think about it: when was your last eye check?

This year, set one simple, tangible rule for yourself: check your vision every 12–24 months (depending on age and needs). If you already wear glasses, reassess your prescription regularly. If you don’t, don’t wait until headaches or blurry screens force you to.

3. Repair before you replace. We live in a World obsessed with newness, but the best move is always to keep what we already have.

A loose hinge? A bent temple? Scratched lenses? We believe in extending the life of eyewear. That’s why we offer an in-store repair service. A simple, thoughtful way to give frames a second life instead of replacing them.

4. Wear your sunglasses like they’re essential (because they are)

We tend to associate sunglasses with beach days or summer vacations. But their use goes way beyond that. They’re for walking to work in bright light, sunsets with friends, road trips, bike rides, and everything else in between. Besides, protecting your eyes from UVA/UVB is also part of self care. Our ZEISS® lenses can prove it.

5. Look less at screens, more at horizons. But when screens are part of your day, always choose lenses with a blue light filter.

This year, make space for distance: lift your eyes from your phone, take in the horizon, notice the light, the sky, the movement around. Your perspective widens when your field of view does. The blue light from digital devices can contribute to eye strain, dryness, headaches and fatigue, especially after long hours of work or scrolling. Choosing lenses with a blue light filter helps reduce glare, improve visual comfort and support healthier screen time habits.

Let 2026 be about seeing better.

Better light.
Better moments.
Better movement.
Better days.

FORA means outside.
And seeing outside clearly is always a good place to start.
